Galleri Image presents the talk "Conversations About Time and Technology" with the artists Rebecca Krasnik, Sophia Ioannou Gjerding and Mark Tholander, moderated by Magdalena Tyżlik-Carver, Assistant Professor at Aarhus University.

In relation to the exhibition "Snowbound" by Lisa R. Robinson, the poet and visual artist, Astrid Gjesing will read a classical Japanese haiku.

Seminar on Arabian contemporary photography in connection with the exhibition Coastline by Rana El Nemr (Egypt).
With this seminar Galleri Image focuses on contemporary trends in Arabic photo and video art. Program introduction by Anne Mette Laursen, board member at Galleri Image. Rana El Nemr will talk about his work methods and present different works in connection with the title Coastline. Khaled Ramadan will talk about the contemporary scene in the Arab region. Focusing on photograpic and video art he will discuss the issues and trends that characterize the arab art scene. Ramadan is currently working as teacher at the Art Academy in Copenhagen.
Touch MeÅrhus and Galleri Image
Galleri Image presents in collaboration with Århus Kunstbygning and Øst for Paradis - Art Cinema the video exhibition "Touch MeÅrhus".
In Århus Kunstbygning Nathalie Latham will display a video projection entitled "Sleeping Angels".
In Øst for Paradis - Art Cinema Richard Fear's video "3D" premieres on the 5th of August 2006 at 14.
"Touch MeÅrhus" is curated by the editor of the Internet portal aarhus.nu, Anne Dyhr, who is cand.it in multimedia.
Performance
Saturday 3rd June 2006 at 15.15, Spain 19C, Aarhus.
In connection to the exhibition in Galleri Image "Focusing - Foreground and Background" by Jurgita Remeikyte the artist will do a performance in the exhibition space Spain 19C.

Seminar on British contemporary photography in relation to the parallel exhibitions in Galleri Image with the two British artists: Annabel Elgar (GB): "We were till we weren't" and Sian Bonnell (GB): "everyday dada". Both exhibitions will be on displayed from 3rd - 26th March 2006.
