On Saturday October 15th at 2pm the British artist and writer James Bridle will give an artist talk in the Sunset Lounge at the Aros art museum in Aarhus. In his work, Bridle makes use of digital material in order to examine how surveillance systems, military technology and issues related to citizenship are intertwined and shape the world - and how journalism, legislation and art can be applied in this connection.

The artist talk is held in collaboration with the Hasselblad Foundation and Galleri Image and is free after paid admission to ARoS.  The event will be conducted in English.

Bridle’s work can be experienced at various locations in the city until late December 2016: simultaneously with the solo exhibition Apophenia at Galleri Image, Bridle’s digital film Seamless Transitions (2015) will be screened at ARoS from October 14th - December 18th. James Bridle is also part of the project and the group exhibition WATCHED! Surveillance, Art and Photography, which will be on show at Kunsthal Aarhus from November 16 – December 31 2016.
