In connection with the current exhibition New Generation - The Latest in Contemporary Photography from Korea the Demo Room is displaying Seascape (After MIN Chung-Sik) (2014) by Hyungsik KIM (f. 1979).
The video shows the making of the works Seascape 0036 (After MIN Chung-Sik) and Seascape 0192 (After MIN Chung-Sik) - both paraphrases of the work of Korean photographer MIN Chung-Sik's works with articifial landscapes from the 1910s and 1920s. The original photograph - and the other 85 works in the exhibition - can be enjoyed inside the gallery.
