Another Kind of Adventures at the 3rd International Photo Festival in South China’s Lianzhou 8. -12. december 2007
Danish photography and video art will play a prominent role at the 3rd International Photo Festival in South China’s Lianzhou which starts December 8th. Photographers Astrid Kruse, Trine Søndergaard, Nicolai Howalt and Ebbe Stub Wittrup join forces with video and performance artist Lilibeth Cuenca Rasmussen to present an exhibition curated by Beate Cegielska and Tove Thage and produced by The Danish Cultural Institute in Beijing. The opening weekend will feature special live performances of Lilibeth Cuenca’s EGO Song and Artist’s Song at The Granary downtown Lianzhou as well as a seminar/workshop on Danish photography conducted by the curators in collaboration with the organizers. The Danish participation is supported by the Danish Center for Culture and Development. For Lianzhou 3rd International Photo Festival, The Danish Cultural Institute will publish a special 84 pages catalogue supported by the Oak Foundation.
