New collaboration: Albert Elm at Cabinet Seoul

CABINET SEOUL is an experimental exhibition space created by Project SIZAK to initiate site-specific works and discussions based on the medium of photography. Participating artists attempt to work on the historical contexts of the space’s neighboring areas, and the works created in the space are accessible to the public 24 hours a day. In a new collaboration with Galleri Image, Cabinet Seoul will exhibit works by Albert Elm (b. 1990) from January 13th until March 15th 2017.

Albert Elm writes about his own work:
‘What sort of life is this?’ is a photographic essay about living in a world we are continuously trying to understand. In my own attempt to understand life around me, I take pictures of life today, as I experience it, under my circumstances and age. I work from an intuitive urge to explore my surroundings and ask the question: What does the world look like?

‘What sort of life is this?’ is on at Cabinet Seoul, Seunsanga, Cheonggyecheon-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul. January 13th until March 15th 2017.
