”Black Box” by Berit Dröse 18. April - 18. May 2008
”Black Box” is a stop-motion film that shows a ballet dancer, standing on tiptoe and twirling on her own axis like the figurine on a musical box. The expression Black Box is connected to aeroplane crashes. It is the memory unit that unequivocally presents a sequence of events. It can answer hitherto unexplained questions and shed light in the darkness of ignorance, if it’s information is interpreted correctly. A number of unexplainable mistakes arise in the film so that it is difficult to see who exactly is controlling the movement.
Berit Dröse is a student at The Jutland Academy of Art.
